Well hello Friday!  It’s nice to see you.  I hope that everyone had a great week.  As for my week its was made up of housecleaning, redoing my resume, job searching and the best for last reading. 

 First Lines Fridays is a weekly feature for book lovers hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines?

• Pick a book off your shelf (it could be your current read or on your TBR) and open to the first page
• Copy the first few lines, but don’t give anything else about the book away just yet – you need to hook the reader first
• Finally… reveal the book!

Mandy stared at the photograph on her computer screen and held her breath.

The shirtless man had cropped, light brown hair, and posed on a beach with his legs spread apart with the top half of his suit rolled down to his waist.  His eyes were the clearest shade of blue.  His huge grin contained two perfectly aligned row of white teeth, ad she could almost taste the salt water dripping from his chest and onto the surfboard lying by his feet.

“Oh my Lord”, she whispered to herself, and let out a long breath she didn’t realize she’d been holding.

And now for the book………..
