– Saving Meghan by D. J. Palmer
Some would say Becky Gerard is a devoted mother and would do anything for her child. Others, including her husband, claim she’s obsessed and can’t stop the vicious circle of finding a cure at her daughter’s expense. An action-packed medical thriller with numerous twists and turns!
A woman gets a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to complete the series of a well-celebrated, successful author named Verity Crawford. When she arrives at the author’s house and gets hold of the manuscript, she’s shocked by the content; the shocking, twisted admissions within the unfinished book are unbelievable!! This insane book will disturb you and challenge your sanity. An absolute must-read for psychological thriller readers.
This is the most celebrated thriller by this author and by far Marrs’ most unique work. Imagine that there’s a possibility that you could be matched with your soulmate, with *one* simple DNA test. Well, according to Mr John Marrs, this has a few, um, complications. Not only “happily ever after” isn’t guaranteed – worse, your worst nightmares may also become reality… I have purchased this and I am reading it now, and I must say wow what a book so far.
⁃ When I Was You by Minka Kent
When I Was You is may not be as *dark*, but it’s the perfect thriller if you’re looking for an easy, fast-paced, bingey read about a woman who lives in complete seclusion after surviving a brutal attack.
A sociopathic woman is set on getting her revenge on a man she purposely meets after securing a job at an insurance agency. You keep turning the pages because you simply have to know what happens next.
⁃ Blood Orange by Harriet Tyce
The protagonist is a lawyer whose new client confesses her that she, indeed, stabbed her husband, and refuses to plead “not guilty”.
