I love a good “based on a true story”

I picked out this book randomly a few days ago when I was bored and just wanted to ready something. At first all I expected from this book was a good and interesting story, but when I continued reading, I found it to be SO much more then that. I was deeply touched by the bravery and strength of the girl, and I actually cried several times when some of the moments really hit me; and wondered why there are parents like that our there.   After reading this book, I finally have an idea of what is it that a lot of people are going through, and I can finally understand how hard and scary it must be for people to open up and seek help when they are being abused, sexually harassed, or something even more horrible.

What an amazing story and a great read. Thank you for sharing such a difficult time in your life.  I am giving this 5 stars, as it takes courage to talk about what happened in one’s life.
